Coordonit ("we," "us") provides a food-service vendor compliance and coordination platform. This policy explains what personal information we collect and how we use it.
Information we collect
- Account and business details you provide during registration (name, business name, email address, mailing address, and mobile phone number).
- Compliance documents you upload (such as certificates of insurance, licenses, and certifications) and field temperature readings captured in the app.
- Basic technical information needed to operate and secure the service.
How we use your mobile number and SMS consent
If you opt in during registration, we use your mobile number to send account and compliance notifications only — for example, delivering login credentials and reminding you when a compliance document is expiring. We capture your SMS consent with a timestamp at the time you opt in.
We do not share your mobile number or SMS consent with third parties for their own marketing, and we never sell your personal information. Mobile information is used solely to provide the notifications you have agreed to receive.
Opting out
You can opt out of SMS messages at any time by replying STOP to any message from us, or reply HELP for help. See our SMS Terms for details. Opting out of SMS does not remove your account; essential notices may still be delivered by email or in the app.
How we protect your information
Compliance documents are stored in encrypted storage and access-controlled; sensitive identifiers such as tax IDs are encrypted, and access to them is logged.
Data sharing
We share information only with service providers that help us operate the platform (such as messaging and cloud-hosting providers) under agreements that limit their use of the information to providing those services, and as required by law.
